I’ve always had a thing for ideas.

For more than 15 years, I ran a design firm called The Idea Partner—so apparently the habit stuck.

If you’re looking for something original but don’t quite know what that “something” is, that’s where I come in. Give me a person, a place, a story, an occasion—or even just a vague starting point—and I’ll develop the idea, shape the story and turn it into a one-of-a-kind piece in wood.

You don’t need to arrive with the answer. That’s my job.

Here is how it works:

1. Tell me your thoughts.
2. We’ll talk about size, wood and story and where it will be placed
3. I sketch or develop the concept. Give you a price. We agree.
4. Your piece is then carved in my Gibsons studio and delivered in a timely manner.
